Ms. Shabana Mansoory is born in Kabul, Afghanistan and has a BA degree in Computer science from Kabul University in 2012, Kabul, Afghanistan. She started her professional career as Database development intern in a U.S. owned firm, Chemonics international in 2012 in Kabul. And going on she had a great improvement in her career. She has being considered as revolutionary in women leadership through her activities in national chapter of world’s largest student run organization “AIESEC Afghanistan” from being an exchange participant in 2011 to becoming the first female executive board member in 2013- 2014.
Currently she is the Co-Founder of the one and only network of women in technology in Afghanistan “TechWomen Afghanistan”. She is mainly responsible there for the strategic direction of the network. She believes through this network she can have an impact in lives of hundreds of women by providing them space for enhancing their capacity and letting them become leaders in government, business, CSOs and NGOs and bring development to the country. She is also involved in many social activities, she volunteers in Afghan Veracity care for unsheltered families. Ms. Mansoory's recent appointment was with Ministry of Communications and Information Technology as Chief Information Officer for e-Governance Resource Center project. She has traveled and lived in Pakistan, India, Egypt and Turkey.
